That was the night I realized something: My boundaries don’t have to be loud to be valid.

They just have to be honest.


No to the plans I didn’t want to go to. No to the ex that kept texting. No to the guilt I wore like a second skin.


It’s not always easy. But it’s worth it. Every time you say no to what drains you, you say yes to your peace.
